I'm just your typically terrible person. So much crime, disease, and horror in the world but I fill my head with noise and look the other way.

Who needs reality when you can alter and maintain the perfection of your own brain chemistry through the wonders of artificial drugs?

I am artificial man.

Once I would have been worth millions, but now I take the cheapest most generic solution to my mental woes and save my insurance company a lot of money.

That is important.

Much more important than my own long term livelihood on good old planet Dustball.

So you see now, I can tune out reality and embrace the deeply fucked-up-ed-ness of reality with a smile and a handshake.
